== Sobaipuri References ==

(Most people who study the O'odham study the Tohono O'odham or the Gila River O'odham. These are not the same people as the Sobaipuri. Some Sobaipuri went to the Gila
River when they left the San Pedro. Others went to the Tucson area and intermixed with the Sobaipuri residing in settlements there, including at Wa:k or as Kino referred to it:
San Xavier del Bac. Many Tohono O'odham have intermarried with the Sobaipuri at San Xavier, but in doing so, this makes them Wa:k O'odham, just as those who
intermarried with the Apache became Apache. The references listed below discuss the Sobaipuri rather than those other O'odham groups.)
